The documentary Songs of Ttrebizond which aired on BBC Radio 3 on the 31st of January 2010 has been rebroadcast under the title Return to Trebizond.  Although divided by the Lausanne Treaty and the Exchange of populations, the Pontic people of the Black Sea (Pontus/Karadeniz) be they Orthodox or Muslim share a common culture.  As the BBC writes on its website, they "play the same, and dance the same. Culturally connected and politically divided this is a story of people who are really cousins, or even brothers, but cannot quite bring themselves to admit it."
