The Omal Aplon (or monon) is perhaps the easiest Pontic dance. In Pontic Greek, Omal means regular or smooth. It was danced with various musical instruments in Tsimera, Argyroupoli, Trapezounta and other regions of Pontus. The dance has 6 steps and is danced in a closed circle with elbows bent.
