Soğuksu (Gr: Σοούκ Σου) is a suburb of Trabzon situated on a hill approximately 4km south west of the city. Soğuksu means cold water in Turkish. Prior to the exchange it was one of the more picturesque suburbs of the city where the luxury homes of the affluent class were located.
